Hirscher ready for the "toughest enduro rally in the world": Marcel competing at Red Bull Romaniacs

From 27 to 31 July, the Salzburg champion will face his first adventure on two wheels by competing in the event in Romania. Prelude to the Dakar?

Marcel Hirscher's passion for speed is evident in all its forms. From skis to cars, but above all for motocross bikes; the winner of eight World Cups is ready to face his first real endurance race, what is called the toughest rally in the world at the Enduro level. The Salzburg ace, in fact, will face the Red Bull Romaniacs, scheduled in the Carpathians from Tuesday 27, with the prologue in the heart of Sibiu, until Saturday 31 July along over 600 km of tests. Hirscher will compete in Romania in the silver category, for an event that could represent for him a prelude to a possible adventure in the Dakar, as has been feared several times after his retirement from competitive skiing, which took place in September 2019.
