The long training period that will see the Italian slalom national team finalize the approach to the first two World Cup races in Val di Fassa, scheduled for Monday 21st on the Gran Risa of Alta Badia, will begin on Tuesday 8 December. and on the evening of Tuesday 22 in Campiglio, on the legendary 3Tre. An ideal training, given that the team will be able to stay in Pozza di Fassa for over ten days, working on a complete track and in perfect conditions such as the “Aloch”; moreover, with the two European Cup slaloms scheduled for 17 and 18 December, there are also two competitive tests a few days from the debut, the top considering the long abstinence from competitions for all the specialists of the narrow poles. Jacques Theolier and Stefano Costazza will work from the next few hours with seven athletes of the World Cup team: they are Stefano Gross and Federico Liberatore, literally at home from Fassani doc, Giuliano Razzoli, Tommaso Sala and three fundamental elements of the slalom team, for several reasons in the pits in recent weeks. Alex Vinatzer will return to training seriously after the stop due to an appendectomy operation, Manfred Moelgg (already on skis last week) after contracting Covid and Simon Maurberger, who has already worked a bit with the same "Manni" last week weekend in Valle Aurina, which overcame the problem of the tibial plateau of the right knee operated last February.
