A wonderful Christmas gift that he gave himself thanks to his perseverance, after going through a 375-day ordeal and having eight surgeries on that right leg destroyed in the fall of that inaugural super-g of the 2020/21 World Cup, on the Oreiller-Killy of Val d''Isère
Alexander Prast is back on skis in the last few hours, on the snows of Mutters, in Tyrol, to resume the journey towards the return, he who had won a steady place in the World Cup and also in the national speed team, given that the class 1996 South Tyrolean was one of the most beautiful talents to cast for Alberto Ghidoni and his staff.
Now there is everything to rebuild but, over a year after that 12 December 2020, the light has come back on: “It has been a long journey; after 8 surgeries and 375 days here I am, back on skis - he enthusiastically announced on social media Prast - My knee still needs some time to get back in perfect shape, but the progress is great.
