Gianlorenzo Di Paolo won in the second FIS men's slalom on the snows of Val Palot, which was also awarding points today for the national circuit of the Italian Grand Prix.
The 20 year old from Abruzzo, belonging to G.S. Fiamme Gialle, completed the two heats scheduled with a time of 1''21 "35, thanks to which he preceded Hans Vaccari - again second as in race-1 - by just 2 cents and the Trieste Pietro Canzio, in triumph 24 hours ago, by 36 cents. In the senior category ranking (born from 1999 onwards who are not part of national teams), the day's success went to Di Paolo himself, ahead of Corrado Barbera (fourth overall) and Manuel Ploner (fifth).
This trio also monopolizes the junior ranking (born from 2001 to 2005), while in the aspiring ranking (2004-2005) Diego Bucciardini (14th overall) stood out over Mattia Cremaschini (27th) and Jacques Belfrond (30th).
