A slalom exhibition with lots of blue and a near victory, on the night of Crans-Montana which hosted an event that wants to become a classic and has the long-term goal of taking its innovative format to the highest levels. Kristoffer Jakobsen won the fourth edition of the appointment under the spotlight in the splendid setting of Mont Lachaux, a real ski festival (with the public) which saw practically half of the best specialists in the world participate, including six blues. The first two editions had been won by Clément Noel, that of 12 months ago Luca Aerni, and this time it was the turn of the current leader of the slalom World Cup (in cohabitation with Sebastian Foss-Solevaag, absent due to the injury suffered in Adelboden), who beat Stefano Gross and Manfred Moelgg in the final five, in the order behind Jakobsen on the podium (4th Ryding, 5th Nef), in a race that also saw Vinatzer, Razzoli, Sala as protagonists and Maurberger, but also the same Noel and Aerni, Yule, Ryding, while Zenhaeusern raised the white flag a few hours before the event. An excellent opportunity to train on a track in top conditions, with high-level opponents and with a very particular formula, given that Matteo Joris (head coach of the Swiss slalom national team) has been offering very special heats for some years now, with eliminations in each round for the worst times and a final five. A party which was also attended by a great ex like Julien Lizeroux, in mascot version to "launch" his colleagues in a career, and now all already focused on the fourth World Cup slalom, scheduled for Sunday in Wengen.
