The rankings of the men's World Cup after race number 1 in Val Gardena: Odermatt with a margin of 175 pts over the Norwegian in the general, in the specialty WCSL Casse is dangerously back on the edge of the top 30.

A descent that should have been in favor of Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, to at least try to stay close to Marco Odermatt, even if the two giants on the Gran Risa will in any case all be on the side of the Swiss champion.
And instead, the World Cup leader also gains on his great rival Norge in a downhill, albeit shortened, like the one on the Saslong, with a "+35" which means now having a 175 lengths margin in the general, one fifth of the seasonal journey.
If instead we talk about the classification of the queen discipline, with three races run out of the twelve on the calendar, Odermatt and Kilde are always in second and first position, with the Scandinavian leading by 25 pts, with Kriechmayr now third at -76. The disadvantage accrued by the four-times winner of the cup, Beat Feuz (142 pts from Kilde), is even more important, that of Dominik Paris, who has collected just 11 points so far (with two zeros and 20th place in Beaver Creek) and seems already, sensationally cut out of the game for what was the first great goal of this year.
In the downhill WCSL, Paris is increasingly far from the top five (for what it matters, given that the margin to remain in the ten of the draw for the first group is decidedly large), while in Italy the situation of Mattia Casse is worrying today without points and again on the edge of the top 30, from which Marsaglia and Innerhofer remain quite distant.
