Kilde gnaws only 26 points in Kristoffersen, Friday a key super-g with Pinturault

The World Cup rankings after the descent of Saalbach-Hinterglemm: the fight for the general still sees Kristoffersen ahead.

Today's descent to Saalbach-Hinterglemm did not change too much the situation at the level of the general classification of the World Cup, since Aleksander Aamodt Kilde collected only 26 points and remained so at -21 from Henrik Kristoffersen, always in command with Pinturault third 61 points off the top (and Matthias Mayer, still at -187, seems cut off from games). The super-g on Friday, however, will also see the French on the track and here could be a very important race, before the trip for the Japanese technical races. Downhill, however, as known Beat Feuz is one step away from the third consecutive crystal ball, with Kriechmayr and Kilde now respectively -40 and -51 from Dominik Paris, who will not be able to defend even the final podium in the discipline, at this point almost impossible to achieve.
