The presentation of the project took place in the most anticipated week for Austrian skiing, in the Kitzbuehel temple.
Months of processing and production of Epo-Film, Samsara-Film with the collaboration of Servus TV and ORF, and from today in Austrian cinemas will be visible "Klammer - Chasing the Line", the film dedicated to a legend of world skiing. Franz Klammer.
With a lot of Italy involved, since many of the materials supplied come from the "Salvasci" project in Belluno, and at the premiere on Tuesday evening in Villach (after the one at the Zurich Festival) there were Gustav Thoeni and Herbert Plank, who lived a good part of the their career in the era of the greatest downhill skier ever. The production is mainly focused on Klammer's Olympic triumph, returning in detail to that February 5, 1976, when the Carinthian champion triumphed in the descent of the Innsbruck 1976 Games, driving an entire nation crazy.
