Henrik Kristoffersen is experiencing a very special World Cup. The 26-year-old Norwegian is in full swing for the absolute World Cup dream, also because Pinturault himself is giving a lot in slalom, but the best Kristoffersen will be needed to find the podium continuously in both technical disciplines, starting with the crucial triptych of Adelboden , where from Friday to Sunday we will see two giants and a slalom on the Chuenisbargli one where the champion between the wide doors has always done very well (beaten only by Hirscher in giant and again third last year), also winning twice in slalom , in 2016 and 2017. “Much depends on my head - he confessed before the slalom in Zagreb, as reported by TV2 - Self-confidence is fundamental and it is a moment to lose it again. It is a sort of vicious circle, just think that before the giants of Santa Caterina I did a bad training and it went bad even in the race. I can only blame myself when things don't work out on a technical level and, as a result, self-esteem collapses as well ”. The rebirth of Campiglio? HK94 explains it very simply: “When you have a horrible heat like the first and then you're so fast in the second, it means it's all in the head. It is also true that skiing has changed a lot in recent years. If you look at the videos from 2014 to 2018, you can say that now everything is a little easier, but you have to go further and further to the limit and skiing well is not enough ".
