There was concern, but also a bit of relief for having remedied an injury of this kind out of the season, even before starting the real preparation for the Olympic season.
Henrik Kristoffersen, we recall, had to stop in the first days of May due to a fracture in the talus of his left foot, remedied during a session with his beloved motocross bike; six weeks and the Norwegian ace had returned to work in the gym, returning from Norway to his base in Salzburg, then a lot of reinforcement on the athletic level, bicycle and the expectation of putting back on skis in August, as he would have done among other things in any case even without forced stop.
Albeit a few days later than the tradition of recent years, yesterday and today HK94 is finally back on the track, on the snows of Zermatt for the first exercises in the free field. Two months after Soelden, the plan to present himself to the giant on the Rettenbach (actually never loved by the 2019 world champion) is proceeding in the right direction, as Henrik has made known on social media.
