The Great British Celebration of Kitzbuehel: On Friday the assignment of a cable car to Dave Ryding

The historic success of the slalom runner in the Kitz temple will be celebrated with the usual ceremony, but this time it will be special with an event created specifically for British residents in Tyrol. Appointment Friday 27 May.

On January 22nd, 5 years after his first career podium and on the same track, Kitzbuehel's Ganslern, Dave Ryding wrote a page of history by becoming the first Briton to win the World Cup. The gem in one of the circuit's iconic slaloms, obtained among other things at the age of 35 and for his first ever in the white circus, took Ryding even higher than Gordon Cleaver, who in 1931 triumphed in the combined of the first edition of the Hahnenkamm-rennen, and Evelyn Pinching who conquered the women's descent in ''37. The British specialist, who got married just a few days ago, will be the great protagonist of the classic event organized by the Kitzbuehel committee led by Michael Huber, namely the delivery of the cable car to each of the winners of the races in the Tyrolean temple. Friday 27 May, however, there will be a "more", given that the Hahnenkamm-rennen wanted to invite all the British residing in the region as guests of honor (subject to a request to be formalized by Monday 23) to celebrate their sample.
