The long list of retirements continues with Marcus Monsen who, in the wake of former teammate Stian Saugestad, announced his farewell at just 25 years old. A career that seemed very well launched, that of the giant specialist who, however, emerged in several disciplines at a youth level, with three successes in the European Cup (between super-g, giant and combined) and six medals at the junior World Cup level.
A lifestyle choice after wearing 20 bibs in the World Cup, all in giant, from 2014 until the last race of last season, on 2 March in Hinterstoder where he also took home four points; the best result of my career will thus remain 17th place in Kranjska Gora, in 2017.
