The classic French slalom (and tomorrow is an encore) sees Salarich and Tremmel fail in the decisive heat, with Rassat second two tenths from the winner. Liberator 25th in front of Zingerle.

The first of the two men's European Cup slalom in Vaujany, tormented by the weather (with postponement of the 1st heat for two hours), speaks little blue and sees a German triumph for the first time in his career at these levels.
The 22-year-old Fabian Himmelsbach, in fact, is released by recovering from the third place of the 1st heat to beat the transalpine Paco Rassat by 21 cents, while Joaquim Salarich, who drove in the middle of the race ahead of the other Teutonic Anton Tremmel (out in the decisive heat) , makes a mistake immediately and is therefore satisfied with completing the podium, 6 tenths from the winner.
Switzerland is at the foot of the podium with Noel Von Gruenigen and Fadri Janutin, while Italy, as mentioned, gets a handful of points. Federico Liberatore, the only one to qualify in the thirty, finishes only 25th ahead of Hannes Zingerle, who restarts 31st in the second and is 26th, with the young Gianlorenzo Di Paolo in the points thanks to the 29th placement. Nothing to do for Matteo Canins, Pietro Canzio and Corrado Barbera out of thirty, with Tommaso Saccardi not finishing his second heat.
