The 26 year-old Milanese returns to the podium in the FIS race in Switzerland and sees the light after a long ordeal.

An authentic rebirth, even if the road is still long, after that dramatic day in Reiteralm.
It was December 20, 2017 and, in the first European Cup super-g on the Austrian snows, Guglielmo Bosca literally destroyed his left leg, seeing his career almost compromised.
Almost, because the 26-year-old from Milan has not given up, in the meantime he has also graduated and, once he resumed training only at full speed this summer, he felt the right sensations again (while his brother Giulio again took a bib number in the World Cup for the giant of Beaver Creek next 8 December). And so today, at the first race since that day, he surprised everyone again: podium in Zinal's super-FIS FIS, with a great 2nd place at 61 cents from the Swiss Arnaud Boisset, but in front of another high level athlete like Nils Alphand, third to a tenth from the blue, while the South Tyrolean Florian Schieder finished fourth at 84.
Of the Italian team involved in the Swiss snows, to mention also the good sixth place of Matteo Vaghi, with Nicolò Molteni 13th and Alexander Prast 14th; more belated Pietro Zazzi, Henri Battilani and Mattia Cason.
And tomorrow we will complete the combination opened today by another super-g, with Schieder in the lead after the fast test, in front of the hosts Marco Kohler and Alexis Monney: 6th Molteni, 22nd Prast, 24th Vaghi, with Bosca 41 ° ... but for this day, it is already so fine ...
In Val Thorens, France, the second consecutive FIS giant raced instead: no bis for the Swiss Dionys Kippel, beaten for 19 cents by the French Loevan Parand, with the other transalpine Lardon in 3rd place. The Italian Michele Gualazzi, 6th in the race on Monday, finished 12th. A slalom is scheduled on Wednesday.
