The recovery of Noel and his associates on the Pisaillas glacier: Alexander Khoroshilov on his home snow

First work on the track for many protagonists expected in the next season; the group of French slalomgigantists, with Pinturault in the pits, begins to push.

Shooting week in the snow for many national teams, before getting really serious in August. This is the case of the French slalomgigantists, who in recent days have returned to the snow in Val d''Isère, specifically on the Pisaillas glacier at the Col de l''Iseran, between an altitude of 2770 meters and 3100 meters at the top; all the big names in technical disciplines were present, with the exception of Alexis Pinturault who will be back on skis only in just under a couple of months. Clément Noel is the lighthouse of the group of Frederic Perrin and Simone Del Dio who, from this year and with the retreats of veterans Jean-Baptiste Grange and Julien Lizeroux, will not have a specific team dedicated to slalom; a lot of work also between wide doors so for the 24 year old already winner eight times in World Cup races, on the track this week together with Victor Muffat-Jeandet, the bi world champion Mathieu Faivre, the pure slalomist Theo Letitre and to Thibaut Favrot and Cyprien Sarrazin themselves. Appointment in Novogorsk, on the home snow, for Alexander Khoroshilov and the Russian team: training that also involved the juniors of the national team, with the slalomist who is the veteran anything but willing to give up, after the last year with three top ten and two seventh places between Schladming and Chamonix. The target? Beijing, for one last Olympic assault.
