The season of Henrin Von Appen is already over: the crash at Lake Louise costs the crusader to the Chilean sprinter

The '94 class suffered a serious injury to the right knee: it will not be able to go hunting for its first points in the World Cup.

A serious injury, the only one fortunately occurred to the group of sprinters that made its debut at the Lake Louise weekend. The Chilean Henrik Von Appen's season is already over, after the flight in the first test of the Canadian descent that had forced a stop of almost twenty minutes: it was immediately understood that the right knee problem was serious and the diagnosis, made at 'Banff hospital, now speaks of the rupture of the cruciate ligament and the lateral joint, not without other clinical problems that have advised doctors to postpone the return of good Henrik to Chile for a few more days. The '94 class sprinter has not yet scored points in the World Cup, despite having already worn 54 bibs, with the best results brought home in the descent in Val Gardena (one 32nd and 33rd), in addition to a good 37 ° last January on the Streif in Kitzbuehel. Von Appen also participated in the last two editions of the Olympic Games and four world championships, from Schladming 2013 onwards.
