It's time for the first men's slalom of 2022, this time without any particular hitches after what happened in Zagreb.
The conditions are good in Adelboden, after yesterday's giant on Chuenisbargli, for the third seasonal specialty race which, as has been tradition in the last three years, opens up to every prediction. Of course, the first favorite is Clément Noel (who never won in the Swiss temple), at the start in the first heat with bib number 3, after Foss-Solevaag (red bib and with 1 as in Campiglio and Zagreb) and Pinturault, before Feller, Kristoffersen, Zenhaeusern and Schwarz in the first sub-group, with Alex Vinatzer (10) and Kristoffer Jakobsen (11) ready to attack the podium area.

After Vinatzer, six other Azzurri will be hunting for an important result also in terms of Olympic qualification: Manfred Moelgg needs it, at the gate with the number 19, Giuliano Razzoli (No. 23) returns after the stop for back pain, then here is Stefano Gross (27), dry in the first two slaloms of the season, Simon Maurberger with 30 and Tommaso Sala (37), also very brilliant in this start of CdM.
