It is the time of the giant together with the Gran Risa, and today it really presents itself with its most beautiful dress. The Chuenisbargli in Adelboden is perfect for hosting the first of two rounds between the wide gates, for a triptych (with Sunday's slalom) that is crucial when considering the overall World Cup.
Start at 10.15 on French layout (2nd run scheduled at 1.15 pm), and it will be Alexis Pinturault to open the fifth male giant of the season, followed by Ford and the first two of last year in the Swiss giant, or Filip Zubcic (who finished second ) and outgoing winner Zan Kranjec. Then Norway with Nestvold-Haugen and Kristoffersen, while the red bib and host Marco Odermatt will come out of the gate with the number 7.

Nine blues at the starting gate, with Luca De Aliprandini (bib 8) called to a great test, as he did last year on the Chuenisbargli for a heat and a half, after the disappointment of the immediate exit in Alta Badia. With numbers 28 and 29 also Tonetti and Borsotti aim for an important placement, qualifying goal for Nani (36), Hofer (40), Zingerle (44), Baruffaldi (53) and more experience for the two very young Franzoni (bib 57) and Della Vite (col 63), confirmed after their debut on the Gran Risa.
