The weekend of the parallel in Lech / Zuers closes and it's up to the men to tackle the Flexen Arena track, for the only specialty event of the season which, just like for the women's race, also sees many absences between the calendar, choices and injuries.
At 10.00 we begin with the qualification phase, which will be passed only by the 16 best time trials (on the two runs) to access the round of 16, then scheduled with the classic direct confrontation between the athletes, starting at 16.00.
A very tight battle for Pinturault, Kristoffersen, Zubcic, Schmid, Kranjec and, hopefully, even a little blue in a clearly open race. Weather conditions? Discrete, but overcast skies over the Arlberg area after the snowfall that yesterday afternoon, even during the decisive phase of the women's race, made the surface a little heavier, but with the track that still held up quite well.

There are five Azzurri in the race, the same number of girls who yesterday saw only Marta Bassino pass the qualification cut. Luca De Aliprandini will be the first in the race, with bib n ° 8 to precede Vinatzer, engaged for 29th in the 15th series, then in the series Borsotti, Maurberger and Zingerle, all with the objective (feasible, despite the competition) to access the eighths.
