" In 1991 he decided to leave competitive skiing at the age of 23 to devote himself to college and ... football, first in California and then at Columbia University; Eric Keck eventually became principal of Southwick School in Northfield, New Hampshire, before the sudden disappearance that took him away from his loved ones, his wife Beth and their four children.
