A "sporty Happy Hour" to tell and tell, in full quarantine but also in physical recovery, for a Manfred Moelgg who works like crazy to return in the next season, after the shock due to the injury suffered in the 2nd round of the giant Adelboden on 11 January, with the rupture of the anterior cruciate of the right knee.
With the staff of Milano Ski Team, the champion from Maremma confirmed once again that he "works to return, even if we will understand in September what the situation will be like. We are at a good point, I sweat in the gym at home and I ride a lot with friends on Zwift ”.
From the crossroads at the beginning of his career ("between football and skiing the doubt was minimal, it wasn't that I played so well with the ball between my feet ..."), to relationships with two brothers linked to the world of snow. “With Manuela we lived a certain competitive path together, she has always had extraordinary tenacity. If I have to indicate Michael's merit, however, it is certainly patience: he has followed me as a skiman for years and does not have an easy role, so he has many merits in certain results ".
A trip in the white circus lived practically in full (with the exception of the 2008/09 season only) with the same ski house, Fischer, certainly a particular case at these levels: “I simply feel comfortable with this type of ski and the link with the company, which is very familiar, is also important because I have always worked with engineers to think of a tool that suited my characteristics well. In this field the evolution is continuous, but also in the last season we had found a good feeling before the injury stopped everything. It's nice to understand how it all works and then work with Michael: with my brother we often send ourselves to that country because dealing with me is not easy, but the understanding and trust are unique and help us " .
Four Olympics lived by Manni, who knows who can get to play a fifth, in Beijing 2022, at 39 years old: “The best experience I hoped was Turin, but I had back problems and I was unable to live it as I would have liked. Vancouver was perhaps the most beautiful, also for the atmosphere that was there unlike Sochi. Finally, PyeongChang is very particular because there was almost no public, but where I came with a lot of hope to seize that medal that I have always missed. "
