The Tyrolean slalomgigantista, for a few days on skis after back problems, has carried out very positive training sessions to convince the technical staff.

The dream was to come back in view of the January classics, but it was a very distant goal even just a couple of weeks ago.
The condition of Manuel Feller, however, grows day by day and here the chances that the Austrian slalomgigantista will appear in the race already for the first of the six appointments between the narrow posts of the month of January, or the Sunday slalom in Zagreb, are grown exponentially in the past few hours.
The 27-year-old from Fieberbrunn, who had stuck with his back during the trip to Colorado (it was December 4), accusing a herniated disc problem that had doubted the entire season, after the resumption in the Christmas period on the nevi at home in Saalbach, has increased the engine speed in the last two days of 2019 in Reiteralm, and it seems that he has convinced the Austrian technical staff, starting from the responsible coach Andreas Puelacher, to try already in the direction of Zagreb.
A final test between Thursday and Friday will be decisive; Feller would return to the Croatian track one year after that evening which gave him the first slalom podium in his adventure in the World Cup (he had already been second in the World Championship of St. Moritz 2017), with third place, behind Hirscher and Pinturault, who had launched it towards a great second part of the season and the double place of honor then conquered in Wengen and Soldeu, always behind Clément Noel.
