Another excellent retreat into the world of Alpine skiing. At thirty years' Swiss Marc Gini decided to say enough and next Sunday at the slalom Swiss national championships played his last race of his career.

Gini native of Canton Grisons nell''inverno debuted in the World Cup 2003 by taking part in a total of 124 races. In 14 seasons in the White Circus, the Swiss got a single successful slalom in Reiteralm in 2007, winning 10 times for a top ten finish. The veteran of the red-cross team began its downward spiral in recent seasons because of some injuries. Last year the Swiss slalom skier could not have subvert the negative trend coming out of the TOP30 ranking in slalom. Discouraged and with little motivation Gini has so taken the decision to close his career, "I always thought that I would continue to ski until I had a chance to strive for success. Rising from the positions that count of my start list chances of winning are very low, "said Marc to Swiss media. After leaving the White Circus, Gini now continue her studies in physiotherapy started two years ago.
