Two days of training thinking about Zagreb, or the third men's slalom of the 2021/22 World Cup, scheduled on the Croatian snow on January 5th.
Matteo Joris, a Aosta Valley technician who has been leading the Swiss national slalom team for years, has decided to bring his boys to Gressoney-Saint-Jean, for a specific job to be done on the legendary black Weissmatten, excellently prepared by the Monterosaski staff.
The season of the Red Cross team did not start very well, despite Daniel Yule's placement at the foot of the podium in Val d''Isère, with Loic Meillard who in the last Campiglio slalom snatched a sixth place in comeback, but it will be the January the crucial month for the rapid gates specialists and the Swiss will prepare it in the Aosta Valley, already on the evening of Tuesday 28 December (from 17 to 19 to simulate the conditions of Zagreb, since next week they will compete again under the spotlights) and then again on Wednesday morning, from 7.30 to 9.30, on the same track.
Ramon Zenhaeusern, Daniel Yule and Tanguy Nef will be present in the Aosta Valley.
