Muffat-Jeandet defends Badiot organizers and points the finger at FIS: "I think it can do much better"

The Frenchman returned to the question of race conditions on the Gran Risa, analyzing the situation more specifically. Update on Pinturault: ultrasound ok, Saturday on the track with bandage for the last pre-combined test.

For years, he has been one of the athletes who is most exposed to issues such as safety and the protection of athletes in general. And even after a two-day race discussed like that in Alta Badia, after the criticisms of two references such as Kristoffersen and Pinturault, Victor Muffat-Jeandet himself said his proposing a different and decidedly more specific point of view. Defending the work of the Badiot organizers and pointing the finger at FIS: "Since I competed in the World Cup, I had never seen such critical conditions on the track - said the transalpine slalomgigantista - but I can say that the organizers of Alta Badia they did a tremendous job all week, battling totally unfavorable weather. I am convinced, however, that FIS has enough money and professionalism to organize a special team dedicated only to the preparation of the slopes, not dealing with them only in the days preceding the event. It is about our safety and to show our sport in the best way to the people who follow us; sorry to write this after the races, but in the competition days everyone is focused on the event. This is the only way to be heard ". PINTURAULT UPDATE After the injury remedied on Monday in the parallel giant on the Gran Risa, with a 6mm injury to the adductor of the left thigh, and the confirmation that Alexis Pinturault will in any case be present in Bormio to play the Alpine combined on the Stelvio, today the 28-year-old from Courchevel performed a new ultrasound which gave positive feedback on his recovery. Saturday there will be the test on the track, a few hours after his arrival in Valtellina, with the use of a bandage to understand what the sensations will be in view of the fundamental race on Sunday.
