The pain of fractured fibula is too strong, so Christof Innerhofer has decided to skip the World Championships in St. Moritz and end his season.

Today he tried to put on skis but in two laps fell twice since its balance is very poor because of the failure of the knee support. His season ended with fast races in Kitzbühel and the sensational second place in the super-G on the Streif. Now Inner heal the fracture and will aim to retake the largest in the upcoming Olympic season.
"It is a very sad day for me - says the 32 year-old South Tyrolean Gais through its management -. I risk at peak, I never throw back, but today for the first time I realized that it is too dangerous to race with a fracture like that. I risk me much more harm because I lack coordination and balance because of the pain that is still going strong. for me, I love skiing is really very hard to say stop, but I know that I will return stronger than before to point to larger goals ".
