Germany greets another slalomist and will be called to rebuild, having already said goodbye to Fritz Dopfer and Christina Ackermann. Today was the turn of Dominik Stehle, who announced his retirement from competitions at 33, after a career that saw the German specialist collect 76 bibs in the World Cup, with participation in two world championships and only one great result (the only top ten in his career), that 4th place on the night of Schladming on 26 January 2016, when a great comeback in the 2nd heat led him, with the bib number 39, to finish at the foot of the podium. "It was not an easy decision - explained Stehle, this year in points only once with the 28th place in the Campiglio slalom - I think it is right to end my career here, after having lived my dream for many years. Now I will open a new chapter, with many good memories, emotions and friendships, but also many thanks to all the people I have dealt with in the white circus ".
