Between a dip in the water of the Norwegian fjords and already excellent sessions on the Fonna Glacier, in the heart of the Vestlandet.
Norway has started to get serious again these days with training on skis, alternated as usual by the "Attacking Vikings" with many other activities. There are leaders Kilde, Jansrud and Nestvold-Haugen, talents like Braathen and slalomists like Foss-Solevaag, but also the one who won the World Cup for the first time last season.
We are talking about Rasmus Windingstad, which officially made its debut on the slopes with a pair of Stoeckli skis on its feet: the transfer of the winner of the parallel giant in Alta Badia, in December 2019, to the Swiss brand that is already among the a talent like Marco Odermatt ranks in his line and, in the past, he has won everything with Tina Maze. Curiously, but not too much considered the philosophy of the Swiss house, Windingstad is the first Norwegian in history to use Stoeckli, after having left (the announcement had already arrived a couple of weeks ago) Rossignol, the brand with which he had obtained the first two career podiums, between the giant of Kranjska Gora in March 2019 and, in fact, the triumph of that night on the Gran Risa.
