The rankings of the men's World Cup after the first giant of Santa Caterina Valfurva: for the Swiss first time as a specialty leader, the WCSL top 7 does not change.

A selective race that also did some damage in terms of general and specialty classification for some important protagonists.

Today's third place is worth a special “debut” for Marco Odermatt, red bib for the first time in his career and clearly a candidate to fight for it, after the injury that stopped him last year in Alta Badia. The Frenchman, however, today took 45 important points to strengthen his leadership in the general classification, clearly his great goal: Zubcic climbed to 2nd place and Odermatt to 3rd, with Kristoffersen now 61 points behind the great rival and Kilde himself at 148.
As for the specialty WCSL, now commanded by Zubcic, nothing changes in the top 7 (Braathen and Meillard are the first excluded), with the first sub-group that will be the same for the next giant of Santa Caterina, as well as the second in which Luca De Aliprandini is inserted, always 14th ahead of Ligety. Borsotti, on the other hand, is 28th, the other blues out of 30 without points collected today.
