The rankings of the men's World Cup after the technical competitions in Adelboden: the Swiss sees Pinturault further and further away, Kilde and Mayer now with 4 runs to try to play at least the podium. In the ranking of specialties, Foss-Solevaag and Jakobsen keep the red bib in cohabitation despite today's double zero, but the blues are there.

The two days on the Chuenisbargli ended with a slalom that saw Alexis Pinturault come out in the 2nd heat and lose the chance to return at least under 400 points behind the absolute master of a World Cup who, twelve years after Carlo Janka, seems to take the path of Switzerland. Aleksander Aamodt Kilde and Matthias Mayer will be the men called to try to keep the games open, taking advantage in particular of the four descents planned between Wengen and Kitzbuehel, even if "Odi" can score heavy points on Lauberhorn as well (where it will start on Thursday with the super -g recovery of Bormio) and on the Streif.
It is therefore very interesting to observe more than anything else the evolution of a slalom ranking which, after 3 tests out of the 9 scheduled (even if the recovery of Zagreb is not necessarily going to take place in another location), opens to a thousand possible scenarios if we think that today all the men up front have made a mistake, closing without points. First of all Foss-Solevaag and Jakobsen, but also Noel (second zero in a row for the big favorite) and Pinturault himself, and here behind the two Scandinavians, who have maintained the leadership in cohabitation, they are all very close including the two blues in better shape, Giuliano Razzoli (5th with 94 points, -46 from the top) and Alex Vinatzer (7th at 86). Dreaming is lawful, in a discipline without masters and ... logic.
The WCSL has not changed in the top 7, even if Kristoffersen and Pinturault have lost important points and Strasser, eighth and first excluded, is not far behind. Vinatzer is 10th, just under 100 points from the "border" of the first sub-group that must be his goal between Wengen, Kitz and Schladming, also and above all in terms of the Olympic competition.
Razzoli has climbed again and is 21st, while Gross has collected his first points of the season, but he is always at risk of the top 30 and will have to change gear also to try to earn a pass for Beijing 2022, currently very far away for the Fassa player.
