The fifth downhill of the season, staged today on the Stelvio, brought Kriechmayr closer to the two masters of the 2022/23 WCSL: Casse is 10th in the specialty, while in the WCSL he changes little.

He missed the podium for the second time this season, however finishing fourth, but the margin of advantage for Marco Odermatt remains decidedly wide, compared to Aleksander Aamodt Kilde if we talk about the general classification of the World Cup.
After thirteen races out of the forty scheduled, the holder of the trophy is still with a nice +261 compared to norge, which in turn, however, precedes him in the downhill ranking (with 5 races run out of the 12 scheduled): +99 for AAK compared to the Swiss, but the fight for the most coveted specialty trophy cannot be closed to them alone, given that Kriechmayr, who has already won two races against Kilde's three, is 136 points behind.
Little changes in the WCSL, with Dominik Paris still seventh with a few points collected today with 10th place, while Casse is solid in the second group and is the best blue both in the downhill and in the general standings. Marsaglia and Innerhofer, on the other hand, are just out of the twenty but with the absences of this period, from the injured Dressen to other forfeits such as today's Mayer and Feuz, they could also return to the second group for the next race of the queen discipline, scheduled in mid-January on the Lauberhorn in Wengen.
