The Tyrolean passed the decisive test, this morning with his teammates on the snow of Lienz. A half miracle, not even a month after stopping a herniated disc.

It is now official, after already in recent days it was sensed that the return was now very close.
Manuel Feller will return to the race on Sunday in the slalom in Zagreb, a month after the stop in the back which, on 4 December, forced him to return immediately to Europe from the US trip, with an acute form of herniated disc that seemed to have compromised in large part the Tyrolean season begins.
For over a week, the 27-year-old from Fieberbrunn had regained contact with the snow, increasing workloads in Reiteralm in the last days of 2019; this morning the decisive test, together with the teammates on the snows of Lienz. "I passed the exam without pain, I can't wait to return to Zagreb".
The summons was confirmed by the Austrian federation; in addition to Feller, there will obviously be Marco Schwarz, Michael Matt and Christian Hirschbuehl, who worked together with Lienz today, and Marc Digruber, Johannes Strolz and Fabio Gstrein.
For Feller it will be a special race from every point of view, considering that last year, right on Sljeme, he got the first podium in a World Cup slalom, finishing in 3rd place behind Marcel Hirscher and Alexis Pinturault. The technical disciplines find, after having essentially lost "only" the giants of Beaver Creek and Alta Badia and the slalom in Val d''Isère, one of the expected protagonists.
