Problems for the French on their home glaciers, the slalomists leave for Sweden. And Pinturault ...

Del Dio's team in Kabdalis from Friday 6 until November 14. The leader of the transalpines trains in Pass Thurn, the sprinters in Cervinia until next Monday.

A lockdown that creates many problems for training on the home glaciers, especially in Tignes where the Equipe de France worked until last week. Pinturault, Noel and companions have to adapt to the situation and all the men's teams have already been reorganized to work on the glaciers abroad: starting with the sprinters, as known present since the beginning of the week in Breuil-Cervinia (together with the Azzurri), where they will remain until next Monday with the returning Adrien Theaux and Brice Roger regularly alongside their teammates. Alexis Pinturault, on the other hand, has organized himself for a “solitary” training in Pass Thurn, near Kitzbuehel, who alternates work with his team and that together with the national teams, as happened until last week in Tignes. The slalom team, on the other hand, is leaving for Kabdalis, the Swedish location chosen for a training scheduled from 6 to 14 November. The manager in charge Simone Del Dio (who already left Wednesday for Scandinavia, in order to better prepare the work to be done) explained to Ski Chrono how "it serves to change the routine and, even without Levi's race, represents a nice training opportunity in this period ". Together with Clément Noel, the flagship of the team that counts on veterans Grange and Lizeroux, there will also be Victor Muffat-Jeandet as the French giant team is currently in the pits and forced to work physically, in the Albertville preparation center. “We are losing important days of skiing, but we understand the situation perfectly”, said the group's reference technician, Frederic Perrin, who could not hide his concern over the restrictions that are affecting the work of the transalpine national teams.
