The USA national review continues: the former junior world champion beats the slalomist in the speed test, who comes back in slalom beating Radamus himself.

One gold and one silver each, on the third day of the US championships in Aspen, with double titles awarded to River Radamus and Luke Winters between super-g and alpine combined. The former super-g and giant junior world champion (in Val di Fassa 2019), fresh from a World Cup season with alternating performance, preceded Winters in the speed test, with only 16 hundredths of a margin and Sam Morse on the podium, 22 cents from Radamus. Winters, pure slalomist, then climbed back into the tight posts taking the combined title right in front of Radamus, spaced 51 cents and third overall at the FIS race level behind the Canadian Fournier. Bronze medal went to Cooper Cornelius instead. Today in Aspen another double super-g and combined race, but only at FIS level, while on Friday the descent tests of the US championships will be staged, for both men and women.
