Kriechmayr signs the best time in the last timed test for the descent of Val d''Isère, Paris and Innerhofer at almost 3 seconds. Tomorrow off with the super-g (even if the weather ...).
Friday 11 December 2020 3 minutes reading time
A second test of the descent on the Oreiller-Killy which sees Vincent Kriechmayr dominating in front of the one who could already be considered the great favorite for this weekend's fast races in Val d''Isère (it will open on Saturday at 10.30) with the super -g, weather permitting), an Aleksander Aamodt Kilde who, after the best time signed in the first training, is back there today with the second overall performance.
However, it was also the day of the fall of Matthias Mayer who, starting with bib n ° 3, suffered an accident to be evaluated in these hours, with the test interrupted for almost a quarter of an hour. A test to be taken obviously with the pliers, but the Azzurri ended up quite far from the top: Christof Innerhofer finished 2 ”82 from Kriechmayr, losing steadily (yesterday he was very fast for the first three quarters of the track), Dominik Paris at 2 ”91 on par with Beat Feuz, even if the study of the lines was certainly the priority of the two champions of the descent.
Track that did not speed up compared to the first day, on the contrary, with Kriechmayr (who made the difference in the central section of the "OK", the more technical one) then ahead of Kilde by 66 cents and then still a lot of France up front, with Johan Clarey back in third place, 1 ”11 from the best time.
