A special eve, with seven winners of the 3Tre and of that lightning jersey symbol of the Campiglio slalom.
On Tuesday evening, at the Hofer Hall, about 400 guests attended the rite of memorabilia on stage to be assigned to those who were able to triumph at least once on Canalone Miramonti, after remembering a legendary figure like Zeno Colò.
Creepy names, with the presence of Alberto Tomba, Marc Girardelli, Ivica Kostelic, Piero Gros, Giorgio Rocca, Ivano Edalini and Henri Bréchu, who remembered anecdotes and joked on an evening different from the others, then seasoned by the music of Kostelic himself. The Croatian champion, who has been leading a band for years and, among his thousand passions, music is a fundamental element, has dragged the audience with his guitar and his sympathy.
And Albertone Tomba is already charged for tonight's race: "We have a lot of blue hopes for this 3Tre - the words of the Bolognese champion, who returned to Campiglio after the appearance of December 2017 - I hope it ends with the same podium in Zagreb, but reversed roles with our first Vinatzer. Or Gross, it could be his day ... as long as it's Italy ".
Marc Girardelli duetted with his former great rival: "I was strong and complete, but when Alberto arrived ... you had to step aside".
