Another relatively young retreat, as he would have just turned 29 next October.
Robin Buffet says goodbye to the white circus, after wearing 53 bibs in the World Cup and taking part in the world champion slalom of Sankt Moritz 2017, which ended in 18th place in the final of his best year. The French slalomist, in fact, a few weeks earlier had obtained what will remain the best result of his career, with the ninth place in a classic like Wengen.
For the La Clusaz specialist also four successes in the European Cup, of which the first three in slalom and the return to success just a few months ago, but in the Alpine combined of Santa Caterina Valfurva. Precisely in this discipline he played his last CdM race, last March 1 in Hinterstoder, without getting points like for the whole 2019/20 vintage that saw dry Buffet. "The time has come to turn this page of high-level sports - Buffet said on social media.
