Dream days, in simply perfect snow and weather conditions at high altitude in Saas-Fee.
The Italian national team of slalomgigantisti is about to complete a week of high quality post-mid-August preparation; last Wednesday the first day on the track on the Swiss glacier, with the guys led by Jacques Theolier and Stefano Costazza (as regards the slalom) and the duo Girardi-Bergamelli for the giant, who will remain in Switzerland until Monday 23, waiting for understand where to carry out the fundamental phase of September before finishing, on European snow, in the first two weeks of October pre Soelden.
Alex Vinatzer and Manfred Moelgg work in Saas-Fee, launched towards another season as captain of a slalom team that, waiting to find Giuliano Razzoli at full capacity, counts on Stefano Gross, Tommaso Sala and Simon Maurberger, who in these days he has finally been able to return to training also in the giant, after all the problems accused by the fall in the parallel of Chamonix in February 2020.
The team that is dedicated to wide doors is led by the vice world champion Luca De Aliprandini, flanked by Riccardo Tonetti, Hannes Zingerle and Giovanni Borsotti, eager to play like the Trentino high-level placements, with the ultimate goal of the pass for the Beijing Olympics.
