The same injury for the young transalpine Fresquet, important damages also for Schuller, Chabloz and, albeit with the possibility of returning soon, for Matthieu Bailet.

A very heavy balance for Switzerland and France, with five injured during the four "brutal" days on the Stelvio di Bormio.
The bulletin is now complete, given that this morning the Swiss federation communicated the extent of the damage repaired yesterday in super-g by Urs Kryenbuehl: unfortunately, the damage is the heaviest and concerns the injury to the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee for the talented, and decidedly unlucky, sprinter who in 2019 came close to triumph right on the Stelvio, 2nd just behind Dominik Paris.
Kryenbuehl had found himself, after two hellish years between the first cruciate break (in the same right knee, in the scary flight remedied on the Streif in January 2021) and a pelvic injury in the European Cup last winter, conquering 6th place in Wednesday's downhill, then the new crash in the closing tender of 2022.
Visited in Zurich, the 28-year-old Swiss will be re-evaluated in mid-February (his season is over in any case), but he has currently opted for conservative therapy without surgery.
Teammate Yannick Chabloz, on the other hand, suffered spinal and thoracic fractures, with recovery times to be defined, in the crash in practice on the Stelvio: no surgery is planned for him too but returning this season appears very complicated .
Chapter France: Matthieu Bailet, knocked out in the first training session on Monday, suffered an important concussion, so much so that he remained under observation for 48 hours at the Sondalo hospital
