Immediately Jansrud and Kriechmayr in the first test of Beaver Creek: Paris at the start with the "usual" 7, then Buzzi

Tonight (7.00 pm) Italians will test the descent on the "Birds of Prey", towards the three days of races at the start on Friday with the super-g.

A three-day race to be experienced, from Friday to Sunday on the "Birds of Prey" in Beaver Creek, one of the most challenging and spectacular tracks in the circuit, with super-g, downhill and giant scheduled in the order. With a fairly heavy snowfall expected on Thursday, the first (and perhaps only) test of the descent, scheduled for Wednesday evening (start at 19.00 Italian time), could be decisive. The Azzurri will be seven at the start, with Dominik Paris choosing the "usual" number 7, followed (in this case by drawing lots) by Emanuele Buzzi with the 8, while Peter Fill will start for 29th, the falling Matteo Marsaglia with 30, Mattia Casse with 33, Riccardo Tonetti (who throws himself in speed thinking about the super-g on Friday) with 60 and Federico Simoni with 73, just after Marco Odermatt. There will also be Alexis Pinturault, again from a super-g perspective, with bib number 34, but we will start with a bang as Jansrud and Kriechmayr will have 1 and 3, interspersed with a dangerous man like Travis Ganong. After the Italian duo, here is Matthias Mayer with the 9, but also many doubts about his physical condition after the fall reported in a giant training, then Nyman, Feuz and a Hannes Reichelt who will try to revive himself on "his" Birds of Prey. Here he did very well 12 months ago, as in Lake Louise, also Mauro Caviezel (bib 17 for the first test), which will start before a Carlo Janka in great shape and the winner of the first downhill, Thomas Dressen who will have the number 19. NEVEITALIA will follow the test live, through the usual FIS live timing starting at 7.00 pm.
