The Norwegian, who won the trophy that adds up the World Cup races between Val Gardena and Alta Badia, celebrated with the organizers in a video conference.

The usual summer ceremony linked to the Sudtirol Ski Trophy, the prize awarded to the one who obtains the best results among the four races of the men's World Cup and which are held annually between Val Gardena and Alta Badia, in this particular 2020 was staged only ... online. Rasmus Windingstad, winner for the first time in his career in the parallel giant on the Gran Risa, then connected by video conference with the organizers to toast to a title left in Norway after the double success of Kilde (2017 and 2018) and the inaugural one by Kjetil Jansrud in 2016. No trip to the wonderful Dolomites, between tastings and a walk in the refuge, but an "Alto Adige Aperitif" organized by IDM Alto Adige. A life-size wooden bust, a stay in South Tyrol and 20,000 euros: this was the prize awarded to Windingstad, with chef Nicola Laera of the restaurant La Stüa de Michil in Corvara who presented one of his dishes that the Norwegian can taste as soon as you arrive on holiday in South Tyrol, or spaghetti with garlic, oil and chilli with shrimps on Vinschgau bread. The bust of Windingstad will be exhibited in the “Hall of Fame” of the Saslonch hut on Ciampinoi, alongside the sculptures of the other two Norwegian winners.
