The US champion, who was not operated on his injured wrist in mid-July, prepares Soelden on the snows of Oregon.

Towards his eighteenth season in the World Cup, Ted Ligety had had to stop training for a small fracture in his wrist, falling downhill on his MTB in Deer Valley. The fact happened just a couple of days before he became a dad again, but fortunately for the almost 36-year-old (he will turn his birthday next Monday) three times world giant champion, the injury was less serious than expected.
No surgery and, about forty days later, Ted is back on skis from last weekend in Mount Hood, the Oregon town that represents the base of the US team in this very special summer for training; a little less than two months after "his" Soelden, a good sign for the one who has the record of successes on Rettenbach, four times between 2011, 2012, 2013 and the last race of 25 won in the World Cup in 2015 Last year's 5th place in the giant of the opening remains the best result of the last two seasons and who knows if one of his magical places will bring him back there again, to fight for the podium.

Come ha comunicato questa sera la FISI, la fuoriclasse bergamasca ha concluso anticipatamente il camp sudamericano a causa di un malore durante la sua permanenza a Ushuaia e d'accordo con il dottor Panzeri ha deciso di tornare a casa.
