The American champion fell on his Mountain Bike, causing an injury that could affect the summer preparation.

An accident in MTB, during a descent resumed with his GoPro, as he often loves to do on skis.
Ted Ligety was injured in Deer Valley, where he is based when he is not busy on the snow, causing a wrist fracture that clearly represents an obstacle in the preparation of what will be his penultimate season in the white circus, having announced a few weeks ago of wanting to continue until the 2022 Beijing Olympic Games.
The almost 36 year old from Salt Lake City (he will turn years on August 31st) has unveiled the injury via social media, posting the video of the fall and joking that, just in a couple of days, his wife Mia (with the which in 2017 had the firstborn Jax) will give birth to their second child. "Advice to men with pregnant wives: don't hurt yourself two days before the deadline ...".
The recovery times for Ligety, who had already had the opportunity to ski in this summer period, together with his teammates on the slopes of Mount Bachelor, are now to be determined.
