We met last week at the Colmar Monza Jean-Baptiste Grange who along with his team-mates of the French national alpine ski men felt the new suits for the upcoming season.

All-round nice chat with transalpine slalom world champion in 2011 with even a hint critical to many "infamous" tracking of Ante Kostelić. Here is the text of the interview which you can also hear in the video.
Jean-Baptiste Grange, are you satisfied with your last season after many injuries the past years?
Yes is was a good season, my goal was to go back in the top seven, eight are now so they are very close! Is not been easy for the snow conditions, it is was almost always warm so the snow conditions were not good, especially if you are not in the first seven or during the first fifteen. '' All I was twenty-fifth start of the season so it is was a big improvement for me, of course, the previous three years had been difficult for me but I proved to be back at the top so I continue to train hard to get back the best.
'' It was very difficult especially skiing in Kitzbühel and the Olympics for the tracking of Ante Kostelić, what do you think?
I think that it was not easy with the snow conditions but also by the way in which it is plotted the run, I think it is an exaggeration at the Olympics, in Kitzbuehel, in the finals in Lenzerheide. I think we need more respect because Who wants to watch television the show and if you draw so heats the big show'' there is, therefore, respect for the spectators and the athletes we need rules that should be fixed in this regard.
For next season, where you going to train?
We will begin next week in Val-d'' Isère, on the glacier, then we're going to Les Deux Alpes and then in Ushuaia for the whole month of August and will end when we get close enough to'' start of the season, as always.
Do you think you could make the races of the World Cup in Ushuaia?
I do not know ... in the summer is not easy to be ready ... if you ever decide to make them could do the races in Chile and Argentina, a sort of mini-leg of the World Cup three or four races. Do one race I do not think it would be a good idea.
Your goals for next season?
I would like to return to the podium in slalom, and also win of course! I think I have close, I need to continue doing this, and then important for me to return to compete in giant slalom and back among the top 30, and I want to return to compete in combined because I think I can do well in this discipline. '' Of course, the goal is compete at the World Championships in slalom and in an'' other discipline, giant or combined. In giant more difficult, the level is very high, we'll see!
An'' other'' world gold medal in the slalom dreams?
Yes, I think I was not very close to the'' gold medal, but a medal at the Olympics: I made one of my best races of last season then I proved to be still when c'' is so much pressure ... definitely a world medal is my goal.
