The World Cup sprinters, once they have said goodbye to the “Speed Opening” in Zermatt-Cervinia, will then begin their season between the United States and Canada. In Lake Louise, the only place to have a double appointment between the male and female sector (for the last year, given that women in 2023/24 will go to Mont Tremblant for two giants and the men are not guaranteed to compete still in the locality of Alberta), you can smile as in the last few hours the long-awaited natural snow has arrived.
The forecasts are also good for the next few days (with the lifts opening scheduled for the weekend of 5-6 November), with low temperatures to completely cover the "Men''s Olympic Downhill" which will host six races. , with the snow control for the men's cup scheduled for 11 November, and the one for the women's circuit six days later.
Paris and his teammates will compete in Lake Louise from Friday 25 (with tests from Tuesday 22) to Sunday 27 November, in this case with two super-gs (Saturday and Sunday) and only one descent, after last season they missed two races on three.
For the opening of the women, who instead saved themselves with a complete program and the historic hat-trick of Sofia Goggia, all confirmed with the classic two descents on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 December, before closing with the super-g on Sunday 4 .
