Tonight the assignment of the Alpine World Ski Championships 2027, while the president of the FISI, Flavio Roda, spoke at the end of the two days dedicated to the technical staff.

The Allianz Tower is the chosen venue for the FIS congress which will kick off today with the choice of the location that will host the 2027 Alpine Ski World Championships, between Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Crans-Montana, Narvik and Soldeu.
Furthermore, in Milan, in addition to the various officialities linked to the World Cup calendars and the proposals of the various technical commissions, there will be the election of the new FIS council for the three-year period 2022-2024, with Johan Eliasch the only candidate for president after starting to work as number 1 in the International Federation last year.
Precisely in the city of Milan, yesterday the President of FISI, Flavio Roda, closed with his speech the two-day meeting organized by the competitive management of alpine skiing and reserved for the staff of the national teams, at the Milan headquarters of the Italian Winter Sports Federation in via Piranesi. Technicians, skimans and trainers participated in a series of meetings related to the planning of the activity in view of the next season: from athletic training to logistics, from technique to the health of athletes, passing through communication, up to research and development. “We have tried to speed up the creation of teams and technical staff as much as possible - said President Roda - working not only for this season, but in view of the next important four-year period.
It was a fundamental period for federal activity, in which we also completed the work on the youth sector. The Federation is committed at the highest level to maximize relationships with partners and sponsors, thanks also to the growth not only at an economic level but in the overall image, with a federal brand that is acquiring more and more importance and value. Precisely for this reason we ask from you for an effective commitment that can lead to important results, and thus also grow from a competitive point of view. I know there will be difficulties and it will take a lot of work, but the Federation will always be at your side ”.
