In fact, the appointment with the Alpe Cimbra FIS Children Cup is renewed again this year, the international event that can already boast athletes from all five continents in its entry list. Registrations are continuing to arrive at the secretariat of the event, which has already registered the adhesion of 24 nations. The challenge between Italy and Austria will be renewed, the two teams that have often fought for the final victory, and there will be the other qualified European representatives of Germany, Finland, Croatia and Slovenia, without forgetting the significant presence of Great Britain, Poland, Denmark, Belgium, Holland, Slovakia, Ireland, Lithuania, Liechtenstein and Estonia. The list is destined to grow in the next few days and it already includes national teams from all over the globe. Athletes from Japan, Kazakhstan and even Thailand will arrive at the starting gate, as well as from distant New Zealand, but also from South America, represented by Argentina, Chile and Brazil, and also from Africa, thanks to the presence of South Africa . The "mondialino" of Alpe Cimbra has always been an obligatory passage for emerging talents aiming to land in the White Circus. This was recently the case of the daughter of art Lara Colturi and the Croatian Zrinka Ljutic, who after having triumphed in the event organized by the committee chaired by Fabrizio Gennari immediately managed to show off on the big stage of the Coppa del Mondo, continuing a long tradition. All the great ski champions have passed through the youth event, now in its 62nd edition (52 of which are valid for the International Criterium), from Alberto Tomba, Ingemar Stenmark, Primin Zurbriggen and Marc Girardelli to Lindsey Vonn , Marcel Hirscher, Dominik Paris, Sofia Goggia and Mikaela Shiffrin, just to name a few. The program of the 2023 edition of the Alpe Cimbra FIS Children Cup will be opened on Sunday 22 January by the parade of the teams of the regional committees of Italy, which on Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 January will compete in Fondo Grande di Folgaria on the Martinella Nord slopes and Competitive in the slalom and giant slalom races, valid for forming the two Italian teams that will participate in the international phase, as well as for the assignment of the Cassa Rurale Vallagarina Trophy. Wednesday 25 January will be the turn of the team event, the spectacular parallel team reserved for national teams, to precede the opening ceremony on Thursday 26 and the international phase races, scheduled for Friday 27 and Saturday 28 January again at Fondo Grande of Folgaria.
