Armand Marchant crowns the Olympic dream, even the very young Pohjolainen and Ljutic at the Games

The convocations of Belgium, Finland and Croatia, where the focus is strongly on Filip Zubcic and Leona Popovic, in a team (six athletes) completely focused on technical disciplines.

Dreams that come true, five-circle dreams for athletes with diametrically opposed but special stories. Like that of Armand Marchant, who received the ticket to Beijing, 4 years after having had to give up PyeongChang 2018, which arrived too soon after that terrible injury in Adelboden (January 2017) that seemed to have broken his career. The Belgian slalomgigantist will lead his country to the Olympic Games, as will the Finnish Rosa Pohjolainen, specialist in narrow poles born in 2003 who has just conquered the first podium in the European Cup (2nd in the slalom number 2 of Meiringen-Hasliberg) and is already scored points several times in the World Cup. And speaking of talents, Zrinka Ljutic (born in 2004), who has already won in slalom and giant at the European Cup level, is among the 6 Croatian athletes called up for the Games. Team completely unbalanced on the technical disciplines that will also see protagonists Leona Popovic (in slalom this year she is doing very well in CdM) and Andrea Komsic, with the men's trio formed by Filip Zubcic, the great medal hope, Samuel Kolega and the specialist of narrow poles Matej Vidovic.
