Criterium Nazionale Cuccioli, finally the great return next weekend in Vipiteno and Racines

The slalom and skicross tricolors will be awarded for the 2010 and 2011 vintages: the entire program.

The National Cuccioli Criterium, after the cancellation of the 2020 and 2021 editions, finally lands on the slopes of Vipiteno and Racines where the Italian titles for the slalom and skicross specialists born in the 2010 and 2011 years will be awarded. The event will take place in the ski areas of Racines-Giovo and Monte Cavallo, thanks to the commitment of the organizing committee made up of members of the WSV Vipiteno and ASV Racines associations. In fact, more than 600 young female skiers will flock to South Tyrol on 12 and 13 March from all over Italy. For the first day of competitions on Saturday, the program includes the skicross race for the 2010 vintage in Racines-Giovo and a slalom for the athletes of 2011 in Monte Cavallo. On Sunday the program will be reversed: the boys and girls of 2011 will compete in ski cross, while the boys of 2010 will test themselves in the slalom. A real sports festival that for the first time in its long history, will make a stop in the South Tyrolean mountains. "The snows of South Tyrol will be the protagonists of this prestigious event organized by the sports union between the ASV Racines and WSV Vipiteno Ski clubs - the words of the FISI president Flavio Roda - After the painful cancellation of the 2020 edition, they have reunited forces and worked to create a unique, but above all safe environment for young athletes from all over Italy, who will be able to experience two wonderful days full of sport. Events of this level are based on the commitment of the organizers, especially in such a difficult period for our sport, to continue to make competitions take place, thanks to the enthusiasm and competence of many enthusiasts and volunteers who give their contribution. . The competitive aspect will have its importance, more generally it will be a great party under the banner of passion and the profound values of sport. The real protagonists will therefore be the Cubs, in the key competitions of their season, but the event will also be enriched by the participation of coaches, parents and friends, who will contribute to making the setting even more special. For this I thank the Clubs, the organizers and the technicians, certain that they will be able to enjoy these beautiful days full of positive and above all formative experiences to the fullest ”.
