The Swiss slalomist will not stand for a second term. Bernhard Russi's regret, "but I understand his decision".

Now, Daniel Yule has decided that his commitment as a representative of the athletes in FIS is really too much to carry on his career as an athlete which, after the last splendid season (three successes in the classic slalom as Campiglio, Adelboden and Kitzbuehel, the red bib in the dance until the last race), is now at very high levels.
The 27-year-old from Valais sent a letter to the FIS, as reported by the "Blick", announcing that he will not be re-nominated for a second term in spring 2021: "I realized that it had become too burdensome for me, I often got up at 5 in the morning to be able to do everything - Yule's explanation to the Swiss newspaper - I have to concentrate as best I can, giving myself even more time for private life ”.
Bernhard Russi, the great former red-cross downhill skier at the head of the Alpine skiing committee at FIS, said he was sorry "as Daniel has always played this role very well, but I understand his decision".
